Workshops and Parties
To secure your workshop booking full payment must be received in advance of the event date.
Private party booking prices will be quoted and are valid for 30 days, we require 50% deposit to secure your booking and full payment 6 weeks in advance or at time of booking if the date is less than 6 weeks.
Workshops and parties cancelled more than 6 weeks before the event date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 4-6 weeks before the event date, will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made 2-4 weeks before the event date will receive a 25% refund. Unfortunately, cancellations less than 2 weeks before the event date cannot be refunded but we will try to offer an alternative date where possible. This will be at the discretion of FloraFern Florists and will depend on what costs have already been incurred and whether there is an alternative date available.
Minimum age of participants 16 years old.
Damage to personal property
FloraFern florists cannot take responsibility for any personal property that is lost or damaged during a workshop or party.
Health & Safety
Floristy can include an element of risk, whether it is getting jabbed by a thorn or cuts from sharp tools. We aim to mitigate these risks by risk assessing the sites that we use and the activities we run and we lead by example. We will also give safety instructions on the day and provide advice on suitable clothing. We ask that all attending adults adhere to our safety instructions at all times and attending adults are responsible for their own behaviour. We have full public liability insurance.
What to wear
Please come in informal casual clothes and wear flats or low heels, we would strongly advise an enclosed style of shoe. We provide gloves for handling plant materials if required, however, you are more than welcome to bring your own.
